HASTINGS GREENWAY
This long-term project has recently gained momentum with the formation of The Hastings Greenway Trust, a charitable community group central to a new partnership being developed to deliver several routes across town, including a link from the town centre to Ore along Network Rail land
Support is wide based, from community groups, to Hastings College, to the Local MP, and a number of Borough Councillors.
Continued commitment is needed from Hastings Borough Council, East Sussex Council and Network Rail to deliver this worthwhile project. In particular a concerted effort is needed to establish the crucial Town Centre Link, along the rail corridor linking the Station and College to Alexandra Park, and beyond.
